In 2018, Flowers Foods via Wonder Bread and Tastykake partnered with the USO program to donate over $1,000,000 over 3 years, which has since continued after the initial agreement. This partnership entailed the changing of our iconic packaging every year with new designs to incorporate the USO logo, red, white, and blue accents, and flag stripes. These updates were applied to a handful of products, from both brands, that would run in circulation for several months.
As part of the promotion, there were giveaways and as such, marketing materials like displays, containers, signage, web banners and ads, and more were produced for in-store and online.
